We currently operate 2 agencies in Jefferson County under the approved trade names of A. T. Matthews and Dier, located in Watertown, NY, and Timerman Adams Agency in Chaumont, NY.
A.T. Matthews and Dier, a 3rd-generation, family owned business, provides a higher level of service than the competition. We offer over 30 years of experience and more than 100 years of combined experience. In April of 2000, we purchased a long-established insurance agency in Watertown called A.T. Matthews & Son Inc. As the agency grew, more insurance carriers were added to the lineup of companies available and we were able to offer our customers more viable options.
In the summer of 2009, the Timerman Adams Agency was purchased when a long-term associate, Jerry Adams, retired and sold his book to Douglas Dier.
