Foy Agency Insurance, Inc was started in 1950 in the home of Francis and Rosemary Foy.
After serving his country in the Second World War, Francis found that his love for farming was not going to be a possible career choice after injuring his back in the Army Air Corps.
Francis was a POW for seven months after being shot down in a B52 Bomber.
He spent the next 25 years helping local farmers and neighbors with their insurance needs.
In 1971, Thomas P. Foy joined the family insurance agency.
Through hard work and diligence, he started to build the agency into a solid local business that gained respect through the principles in which Francis had believed: "Put your clients' best interests first."
