In 1994, Matt started his career in financial services at New England Financial in West Des Moines.
Within a few years, he decided to open his own practice to better serve his clients.
In 2016, Matt decided to move back home and open up Kacer Insurance & Financial Services.
Kacer Insurance is an independent insurance practice offering all line of insurance and investment products.
Matt and his wife, Stephanie, live in Altoona along with two sons and two daughters.
Matt is very involved in Altoona and the Southeast Polk Community.

Through our generous donors and fundraising efforts, we have scholarships available for students attending trade schools/training/apprenticeships, junior colleges, community colleges, and four-year colleges and universities.
We are still striving toward the goal of granting every senior a scholarship in her/his chosen field of study.
Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars is part of a nationwide network of community-based scholarship foundations, 87 of which are in Iowa.
Through our generous donors and fundraising efforts, we have scholarships available for students attending trade schools/training/apprenticeships, junior colleges, community colleges, and four-year colleges and universities.
