For over 50 years, the Insurance Association of Connecticut (IAC) has been the voice of insurers doing business in Connecticut. We represent the interests of insurers both large and small, foreign and domestic, before decision-makers in all three branches of state government. We also provide our members with regular updates on laws, regulations, court decisions and news stories that affect insurers doing business in Connecticut.

The IAC is one of the most well-respected trade associations in Connecticut. Our team of attorneys and lobbyists has decades of experience both inside and outside of state government, and they regularly put their hard-earned reputations, contacts and expertise to work for our member companies.
Services
Having spent more than two decades representing the interests of Connecticut businesses before policymakers as well as working directly for the General Assembly early in his career, Eric is well known throughout state government as an effective and experienced leader and advocate.
Before joining the IAC, Eric served as the Principal of the Eric George Group, LLC where he provided a wide array of legislative, regulatory and executive lobbying and consulting services to a number of high profile business clients.
The IAC employs a team of experienced and trusted government relations professionals.
We have built relationships with leaders in both parties, the Governor's office, legislature, and state agencies to assist our members in making their views known in the Capitol and help direct public policy discussions.
The IAC also works with top attorneys in the state to draft and file amicus curiae briefs in court cases that affect the insurance industry.
In addition, the IAC provides the industry viewpoint to media outlets on stories affecting Connecticut insurers.
The IAC is the voice of insurers in Connecticut, and all members participate in the development of the industry's agenda.
