Clodfelter Insurance Agency, Inc. was established in 1987, in Rock Port Missouri by James and Alma Clodfelter. After working in the insurance industry for 4 years in Nebraska, James decided to move back to his hometown of Rock Port to start his own business from the ground up. James, his wife, Alma, and their dedicated staff, have quickly built a strong business in the community through personalized customer service and exceptional knowledge of the industry.
In 2001, James purchased McCrory and Associates to expand their business to their second location in Mound City, Missouri. Jim graduated from Rock Port High School in 1973. He attended Northwest Missouri State University. Jim moved to western Nebraska and began his insurance career in Kimball, Nebraska in 1983, where he continued working for 4 years.
In 1987, Jim returned to Rock Port, Missouri and started his own agency. In 1993, Jim earned Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) accreditation from the National Alliance of Insurance Education and Research.
