Allied Funeral Associates Insurance Company was formed to honorably and professionally meet the insurance needs of its policy owners, local funeral home professionals, and their clients by offering competitive products and superior customer service. Allied has built its solid foundation on steadfast principles of unwavering integrity, trust, and excellence as we focus on building and nurturing relationships that address customers' expectations and needs.

They recognized the need for a Mississippi-based insurance company to meet the insurance needs of local funeral homes. Throughout 1996 stock was sold to fund the newly formed corporation and allowing Allied to become licensed by the Mississippi Insurance Department as an Industrial Life Insurance Company.

Some of the company's growth has occurred through acquisition of other industrial life insurance companies such as the acquisition of Home Security Life Insurance Company in 2009, Peoples Assured Life Insurance Company in 2011, and Unity Life Insurance Company in 2016.
