I think of my role in the insurance business as a risk manager and advisor to my clients.
I like to help my clients analyze the risk potential they face and understand how to best insure that risk. I explain in plain English how their insurance policies will work for them. My first seven years in the business were spent with GE Financial (General Electric's Financial Division). During this time I was a career agent, sales trainer, public speaker, and district manager in the San Jose, CA regional office.
I spent one and a half years as a Long Term Care Insurance Development Manager for InterWest Insurance Services Inc. During that time I developed an understanding and interest in property and casualty insurance and risk management.
