My name is James Alonso and I always dreamed of a career where I could affect change in the world around me. I was introduced to State Farm in 2011 when I became a customer. I never thought that four years later I would land a job as a team member in that same office. I was an promised an opportunity as an agent if I worked hard. This is exactly what I did and I am proud to say that I have grown as a person, as an employee and now as a small business owner because of my determination.

I acquired my strong work ethic from my parents who worked two or three jobs to make sure my sisters and I had what we needed to be successful in life. I will work tirelessly to help as many people as I can to follow their hearts and achieve their goals. It is possible to overcome adversity and realize your dreams and I am living proof.
