Matt came to State Farm in 2013 after a successful career in coaching. As a coach, Matt's goals with his athletes were to always focused on the whole person. He has transitioned this approach to his agency. Engagement, education, and support has been his main focus with staff members; empowering each of them to define their personal and professional goals and work toward them every day.
That dedication has shown to have a very positive effect on their interactions with our customers. Working with them to look at the risk of everyday life and uncover some that may have not surfaced - provides a holistic approach to insurance. Matt is very involved in the community he lives in as a member of the Budget Committee, Comprehensive Plan Committee, and Board of Assessment Appeals.
That activity continues within State Farm as he leads the Bangor Territory Agent Aspirant Program, a Bangor Agent Council Member, and other peer lead training groups. If you've wondered whether your retirement savings will last through retirement, you're not alone.
