HMOs, or Health Maintenance Organizations, offer health care from a network of health care providers.
HMOs tend to have respectable premiums and deductibles, but offer limited flexibility for choosing doctors and hospitals.
Under an HMO plan, you need a referral from your primary care physician to see a specialist and you may have to pay 100% of cost if you see a doctor out-of-network.
PPOs, or Preferred Provider Organizations, also have affordable premiums and deductibles - however, they offer more flexibility to see any doctor you want and don't require a referral from your primary care physician to see a specialist (as is required from an HMO).
Individual health insurance programs are designed for individuals and families who cannot obtain health insurance through an employer.
Due to the continually rising cost of medical care, it has become more important to provide health insurance for you and your families.
Del Bucchia Insurance Services offers health insurance programs to individuals which offer extensive coverage as well as high-deductible programs which are designed to protect against catastrophic financial losses.
As an independent broker, Del Bucchia Insurance Services can provide insurance plans from numerous health insurance companies.
You may not have to pay a premium for Part A if you or your spouse have already paid for it through your payroll taxes while working.
Medicare Part A helps cover inpatient care in hospitals, including critical access hospitals and skilled nursing facilities (not custodial or long-term care).
It also helps cover hospice care and some home health care.
You must meet certain conditions to get these benefits.
Most people pay a monthly premium for Medicare Part B. Part B helps cover doctors' services and outpatient care.
Life insurance from Del Bucchia Insurance Services can help you secure your family's financial future by providing the funds they need to: cover burial expenses, uninsured medical bills, pay off your mortgage and other outstanding debts, and maintain a comfortable standard of living.
Term Life Insurance is a low-cost way of providing maximum coverage for your family.
Protection is provided for a limited number of years.
The insurance expires without value if the insured lives beyond the policy period, usually 10 to 30 years.
