The client is his boss, not some Company executive, or district manager.
In fact, you are his sales manager.

A good independent agent has no allegiance to a company.
For a client, that allegiance becomes part of the problem.
Independent means the agent represents the client, and goes to bat for you.
Over many years, I have had several independent agents.
