Livestock Gross Margin (LGM) insurance policies provide protection against the loss of gross margin on the commodity listed on the application and target marketings report.
The expected gross margin (starting value) is based on prices at the time the coverage is purchased.
The actual gross margin (ending value) is based on prices at the time the coverage ends.
If the ending value is lower than the starting value, an indemnity may be due.
Coverage available for Cattle, Dairy and Swine.
Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) insurance addresses a crucial aspect of risk management for livestock producers-declining market prices-without restricting profit potential.
With no sales closing date and sevral different insurance periods, the LRP program make it easy to ensure your policies will correspond with your marketing cycles.
Coverage prices and rates change daily and are based on futures prices on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
LRP is available for producers of Swine, Lamb, Fed cattle and Feeder cattle.

To your family?
To your operation?
The crops you seed or plant require a major investment of labor and cash.
Depending on the severity of hail damage, you could be risking the loss of your profit, labor and cash investment.
POLICY TYPES - The days of "one size fits all" crop-hail policies are long past.
You may need a standalone policy, a full-coverage policy, or a crop-hail policy using a variety of deductible programs.
OPTIONAL ENDORSEMENTS - Many crop-hail programs offer optional endorsements that will further enhance your crop-hail program by providing coverage against specific perils.
