I joined the family business in 1975 following my graduation from Virginia Tech.
Initially I got to work with my grandfather, the agency founder, as well as my uncle and my dad.
Over the years I have witnessed many changes in both our agency as well as the insurance industry as a whole.
The one constant however has been the opportunity to be of service to my community.
My wife Patsy and I have four grown children and four grandchildren.
Today I am the principal owner and manager of the firm.
I am licensed for all lines of insurance though I tend to focus most of my time on the personal account needs of families.
