My name is Wendy Nelson, formerly Schermerhorn, and I am here to help you find the right Medicare insurance coverage for what you need. If you are looking for an insurance plan but are overwhelmed or unsure of all the options available, I am here with over 13 years of experience serving seniors in Montana. My website is here to provide you with information on the different types of coverage/plans available to you, and to give you additional resources and tools.

Not all needs are the same and Medicare can be frustrating to navigate on your own. I am intimately familiar with the details of insurance and can customize coverage to your specific needs. Let us walk you through the technicalities of annuities and the considerations of life insurance. A Montana-born native, Fran has her roots in Billings, and in helping the local community.
Services
At Ask Insurance, we offer a wide range of Senior Health Plans, including Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplemental Plans, and Stand Alone Drug Plans.
We represent most major insurance companies that offer Medicare products, allowing us to tailor a plan that fits your specific needs and budget as well as serve all of Montana.
We enjoy helping seniors with their Medicare health plan and needs.
We pride ourselves on working closely with our clients by taking the time to make a complicated matter simple.
There are two options.
Medigap policies are additional health insurance policies from a private insurance company to your Original Medicare.
Not everything is covered under a Medigap plan such as dental care, hearing aids, vision, private duty nursing and prescription drug coverage.
The second option is a Medicare Advantage Plan which is an all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare.
These "bundled" plans include Part A, Part B and usually Part D. Most plans offer extra benefits like vision, hearing, dental and more.
Similar to other types of medical insurance plans, dental and vision insurance are often categorized as either indemnity or managed-care plans.
The difference between the two comes down to out-of-pocket costs and dental and vision care providers.
Preventative and diagnostic dental care is included in nearly all dental plans as this helps to lower overall insurance costs by maintaining oral health to prevent more serious issues.
These policies cover nearly all basic services like cleanings, checkups, and other preventative services.
There are a variety of reasons we consider having a life insurance policy, but chief among those reasons is that we want to leave something behind for our loved ones.
There are several questions you need to answer for yourself when choosing the right policy.
The amount of debt you have should be a determining factor in what type of policy you will want to consider.
Things like a mortgage, car payments, or other loans may need to be covered by the payout in your policy.
In order for your beneficiaries to receive the benefits of your policy, you would need to have a policy that not only equates to those debts, but also exceeds them.
Annuities are a contract between you and your insurance company in which you make a lump-sum payment, or series of payments, and they agree to pay you back your money over time with interest or investment returns.
Annuities are typically offered with tax-deferred and could include a death benefit that would be paid to your beneficiary.
An advantage that annuities have over retirement plans is that there is no limit to how much money may be paid into them.
However, given that there are so many annuity options on the market, it can be confusing and overwhelming to determine which one is right for you.
