After spending the first eleven years of my life growing up and living in ten different places, including Southern California, Montana and Puerto Rico, our family moved to the Central California city of Salinas (salad bowl of the United States).

In Salinas from age eleven on I was lucky enough to experience many different "jobs" such as newspaper delivery, "in the stands" concessionaire at minor league baseball games, clerk at Long's Drugs (now CVS) and finally working in the fields and produce shipping facility to help pay my way through school at Chico State University. After graduating with a business degree I worked about ten years for a computer software company.

During this time I had a team that worked for me and we consulted with small and large businesses helping automate, manage and run their business more efficiently. After ten years of lots of travel and many overnights out of town away from family, my wife and I decided to make the change to commit to a profession where we could dig in, build long term relationships helping others and be more active in our children's lives.
