I like to give back to our wonderful community. I serve on the Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, and I am a current member, past president, and past Area Governor of the Newport News Rotary Club. I am a past board member of the Newport News YMCA, and past President and Treasurer of the former Safehaven Shelter for Abused Children.

I graduated from William and Mary with an Economics Degree, and I am proud to have an "RICP" designation. Every year I enjoy sponsoring the CNU Holiday Happenings, the Fast before the Feast 5K for the Peninsula Foodbank, The Tee off for a Cure Golf Tournament for the Cancer Society, and the Sister Cities Golf Tournament.
