Bernie started in the insurance industry in 1980 with Metropolitan, in the York, Maine area, specializing in life, health and annuities.
In 1984 he added home, auto, business, and mutual fund licenses to be able to help in all areas of insurance and benefits.
He received his Life Underwriters Fellowship degree in 1987 and is a member of he National Ethics Associates.
He started his own agency in the York in 1988, which is well established and known in the York Community.
In 2017 the agency name changed from Lontine Insurance to Bernie & KLK with the addition of his daughter Kimberly Lontine Kearson and moved up the street along side of York Insurance.
