One point to remember though is that the Insurance Company is only required to pay the ACV of your current automobile on your Insurance policy, not the value of the vehicle you are renting.
We always recommend buying enough coverage that would replace/rebuild your home in the event of a total loss.
Coverage is based on the Replacement cost of the house.
Most companies extend 10% of your dwelling coverage to you/your household members when away from the home.
