Before we revamped this site, I decided to read what other agencies were saying about themselves in their "About Us" sections. I wanted to get some new ideas. And for some reason, we're all under the impression that these things make us stand out from the crowd. To begin with, we're a true independent agency. I know, you've heard that before. There are plenty of independent agents out there.
The difference is that we represent a lot of insurance companies, not just a handful of companies. And we take it a step further. If we find the right policy for you and it's from a company that we don't represent, we'll either sign a contract with that company (so we can offer you that plan) or we'll have one of our partners get the policy for you.
A lot of agencies will tell you, "Since we're independent, we represent your interests and not the interests of the insurance company." Hold on. Not so fast. We don't claim to do this at all. You see, we do represent your interests. But, as field underwriters, we also have a responsibility to the insurance company.
