Archie Keys' introduction to the insurance business began as a debit agent for Herald Life Insurance Company.
His duties included collecting insurance premiums door to door 5 days a week and writing new policies.
Interestingly enough, we were Keys and Associates at the time and didn't even realize it, because my wife Francine Keys was actively by my side preferring to stay in the background.
She helped with the on going responsibilities.
During my first year in the insurance business; I realized that there was a better way that I could serve the public than working as a debit agent.
