Whether you're planning a quick get-away to the beach or mountains or an overseas business trip, travel insurance can be a wise investment. Promote fairness, integrity and a commitment to excellence in the travel insurance industry;.

While UStiA neither promotes nor endorses any particular travel insurance or travel assistance service, we strongly recommend that American travelers consider an appropriate travel protection plan that meets their specific needs.
Services
Membership is open to any company that is actively involved in, or provides services to, the travel insurance business.
We are particularly interested in people and companies who will actively participate on committees and in other UStiA activities.
There are four membership levels: Full Member, Associate Member, Distributor, and Subscriber.
Third Party Administrators (TPAs) that have claims-paying authority on behalf of an insurance carrier.
Managing General Agents (MGAs) and Managing General Underwriters (MGU) that have bending authority for an insurance carrier and that underwrite, distribute, and administer travel insurance programs.
The US Travel Insurance Association has launched a new tool to help the US travel industry better protect American travelers.
The new UStiA Travel Advisor Registry is a one-stop resource that helps connect travel businesses who offer travel insurance to the insurance providers whose products they offer, and critical information about that offering.
For travel advisors, the Registry provides centralized training and resources to stay in compliance with new travel insurance licensing regulations recently passed by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and the National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL).
Founded in 2004, the US Travel Insurance Association represents the nation's largest travel insurance organizations.
Our mission is to foster ethical and professional standards of industry conduct, cultivate effective state and federal government relations, inform and assist members, and educate consumers.
At over $2.2 billion in annual revenues, the U.S. travel protection industry safeguards tens of millions of Americans who travel at home and abroad every year.
Travel protection is unique within the insurance industry in that it offers an unusually broad range of benefits and services.
