It was founded by Lloyd and Joyce Whedbee.
Lloyd started in the insurance business in 1955; first with Met Life until 1960, and then with Liberty Mutual until they opened Whedbee Insurance in 1972.
Their son Robert has been with the agency since 1978.
As Whedbee's principal agent, with Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations, plus years of experience.
