The Crop Insurance Professionals Association (CIPA) is a national organization of agents - spanning from Florida to California and from North Dakota to Texas - who are committed to maintaining and strengthening the safety net for the American farmer and rancher through strong Federal Crop Insurance.
With all the uncertainty in today's economic climate, coupled with the volatility of the weather, commodity prices, and input cost, the importance of effective risk management tools for the American farmer and rancher is greater now more than ever.CIPA members work to help producers manage and minimize the impact of these uncertainties on the bottom line.
The objective of CIPA is to maintain and strengthen the Federal Crop Insurance Program to ensure that farm and ranch families have the risk management tools that they need to succeed, in part, by ensuring a strong delivery system with agents across the country serving on the front line.

Tom Sell, in his role as founder and manager of Combest, Sell & Associates provides the firm steady guidance and management, fosters strong relationships with influential leaders in Congress and the Administration, and leads client development efforts.
Prior to founding CS&A, Tom served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the House Committee on Agriculture, where he was instrumental in crafting the 2002 Farm Bill and the Agricultural Risk Protection Act of 2000.
