Normally when you age into Medicare you have a enrollment entry period window of 3 months before, the month of, and 3 months after the 65th birthday to enroll into Part B or D, and only 63 days after turning 65 to enroll in a Part D (medications) or be penalized for life, unless you can prove creditable coverage.
Part A is automatic, unless you have less than 40 quarters then you may have a monthly payment.
