After graduating from Cal State University Fullerton, she went to work for MassMutual as a life insurance agent.
After a few years, she received her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College of Bryn Mawr, PA.
She eventually expanded her practice to include Employee Benefits with most of her clients being small business owners and professionals in Orange County, CA.
