He is currently a board member for the Center City of Amarillo as well as the NASPB Board.

She began her insurance career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas in 1983.
She joined the Upshaw Team in 1992.
She is the founder of Power of the Pedal a non-profit raising funds to provide bicycles and locks to local Title I elementary students.
