Life insurance is a crucial step in planning for your future and the future of your loved ones.
Life Term Insurance provides life insurance protection for a specified period of time.
Term life is sometimes convertible to permanent coverage, providing you with flexibility as your needs change.
Whole Life Insurance is a form of permanent life insurance that remains in force for your entire lifetime, provided premiums are paid as specified in the policy.
Universal Life Insurance is a form of permanent life insurance characterized by its flexible premiums, face amounts and unbundled pricing structure.
In 2015, Medicare provided health insurance for over 55 million-46 million people age 65 and older and 9 million younger people.
On average, Medicare covers about half of the health care charges for those enrolled.
The enrollees must then cover their remaining costs either with supplemental insurance, separate insurance, or out-of-pocket.
Out-of-pocket costs can vary depending on the amount of health care a Medicare enrollee needs.
They might include the costs of uncovered services-such as for long-term, dental, hearing, and vision care-and supplemental insurance premiums.
Minimal essential coverage is any insurance plan that meets the Affordable Care Act requirement for having health coverage.
To avoid the penalty for not having insurance you must be enrolled in a plan that qualifies as minimum essential coverage (sometimes called "qualifying health coverage").
Examples of plans that qualify include: Marketplace plans; job-based plans; Medicare; and Medicaid & CHIP.
Minimum Essential Coverage - Preventive Only (MEC) plans allow employers to offer qualifying coverage to their employees on a self-funded basis, which satisfies the individual mandate.
Please make sure to read the Brochure to see how coverage will pertain to you and your specific needs.
Are you looking for an alternative solution to the rising costs of Health Insurance and Obamacare?
Quite a few of my clients express to me that the rising cost of healthcare plans are just to un-affordable for them.
However, they still need good coverage.
Healthcare Sharing plans have been around for a while, but became very popular during the inception of Obamacare, (Healthcare Marketplace coverage) due to these types of plans using a different type of coverage method that was still complaint with the new laws.
Prescription Assistance Plans are programs set up by drug companies that offer free or low cost drugs to uninsured individuals who cannot afford their medication.
Most brand name drugs are found in these programs.
Companies offer these programs voluntarily.
The government does not require them to provide free medicine.
Some Patient Assistance Programs will help those who have insurance if they meet program hardship requirements or their medication is not covered by their insurance.
Also, there are several foundations which offer to help with co-pays for specific medications or diseases.
