In the spring of 1945, Walt Sorgi, then a freshman at Harvard University and captain of their baseball team, went out for spring training at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox.
Walt was then chosen as the Starting Catcher for their North Carolina franchise "The Durham Bulls".

Jim Sorgi, was born two days before Walt and Agnes Sorgi started the The Sorgi Insurance Agency with 3 children and no clients.
Jim graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982 and joined the agency in 1983.
Jim is the proud father of 2 kids Mark & Kate.
Mark attended UNC CH and is writing computer code for a company in OKC.
Kate currently is a senior at UNC and looks to go to Graduate School at the London School of Economics in International Diplomacy.

Outside of the office, Kate enjoys spending time with her friends and family and enjoys travelling around the world.
She also loves all animals and hopes to get a dog in the near future.
