Absolute & Jeffery Insurance
The SR-22 is not traditional automobile insurance. It is a bond or a filing made by one of our many insurance companies to the state of Ohio proving you have at least the state minimum required amount of liability. This allows you to legally drive in the State of Ohio. This SR22 bond provides you with the cheapest, least expensive insurance protection allowed by the State of Ohio.

The State of Ohio requires all drivers to show financial responsibility. With the SR-22 bond insurance, if there is an accident due to negligence on your part, the injured party is guaranteed compensation that will cover some or all the damages incurred. The SR22 Bond provides $25,000 bodily injury for any 1 person injured / $50,000 bodily injury per accident when 2 or more people are injured, and $25,000 in property damage liability coverage in the event you are at fault in an accident.

It covers you as a driver. An SR22 bond does not cover the car you are driving or the car you own. An SR22 bond will not provide medical coverage for you or anyone else in the vehicle you are driving at the time of the accident.

An SR22 Bond is a filing made by an insurance company on your behalf to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, which is done to prove adequate insurance coverage following a driving suspension.
There are many reasons one may need an SR22 Bond filed with The State of Ohio.
Whether you have been charged for a DUI or convicted of driving without insurance, an SR22 bond will be required by your local DMV in order for you to continue driving.
If you are unsure of the specific documentation, which you may require to drive in Ohio, you can determine your personal needs by visiting the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles Website.
But that is where the similarities between the SR22 Insurance Policy and the SR22 Bond stop.
The SR22 bond will only pay in the event that you are the responsible party in an accident, and it will only pay for the other parties injuries and/or the property/vehicle damaged by you up to the bond policy limit.
The SR22 Bond will never pay for injuries to the bond holder, the people in their vehicle, or any damage to the vehicle they are operating.
A car SR22 Insurance Policy offers all the protections of an SR22 Bond and much more.
The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) now offers a free driver's license lookup in Ohio.
By filling out a few simple pieces of information online, drivers can obtain their Free Ohio Drivers License Report from the Ohio BMV within minutes.
This free driving record details the individual's past two years of driving disqualifications and suspensions; however, it should be noted that the Ohio BMV also offers a 3-year driving record, which is available online for the small fee of $5.00.
Your free Ohio driver's license check outlines a few valuable pieces of information that will inform your Ohio SR22 bond and provide all of the information you need to drive legally in Ohio based on your specific driving limitations, past charges, and other details.
