Our local associations located throughout the state of Texas hold fundraisers to benefit local community service projects. On the state level FIWT raises funds for one annual community service projects. Previous various charitable organizations including Make a Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, and many others. Our members worked all year to collect funds and host events to raise money.
The grand total raised for the year was $21,000! We are so proud of our members. Each year the Federation holds two major events to provide education, establish industry relationships, raise money for state community service projects, heighten career awareness efforts to bring new people into the industry and encourage social interaction among peers.
These events are the Mid Year Education Conference in April and annual convention and trade show in October. For more information about the events please visit www.fiwt.com/events.htm. FIWT is proud to partner with the INVEST program to help encourage and educate high school students about a career in insurance.
