Back then, Hollander Insurance was a "captive" agency, which meant that it represented only one insurance company. Over time they realized that being limited to one insurance company wasn't good for them or their policyholders. It meant that there was one set of underwriting rules and one set of rates. In 2008 they made the decision to become an independent insurance agency, representing many top-rated insurance companies such as Auto-Owners, Acuity, Selective, Travelers, and many more.
Since then, we have found a company that is a good fit for all of our policyholders. Having choices ensures every policyholder gets the coverage they need and at a price that fits their budget. We sell and service personal and business insurance in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Hollander Insurance clients are now taken care of by Rick Hollander & Karla Burkle as well as myself, Jonathan "Rolley" Hutchcroft, and my wife Heidi.
