Once qualified for Medicare, selecting a plan is more complicated than you might think. There is no one-size-fits-all plan. While Medicare entitles one to a basic level of coverage, it leaves a number of gaps. There are deductibles to be paid, copays, coinsurance, and no cap on annual costs. This consists of Part A and Part B ONLY. It does not cover copays, coinsurance, or have a maximum out-of-pocket limit per year. It only covers a very limited number of prescription drugs.
