CA-CAIR engages, educates and encourages the enrollment of African Americans and other under-served groups into appropriate health insurance plans. The California Certified African-American Insurance Roundtable (CA-CAIR) is a cooperative group of independent Certified Covered California Insurance Agents. The Agents have come together for the purpose of engaging, educating and enrolling eligible African Americans into Covered California health plans.
The Agents have an established and trusted presence in the insurance industry and existing relationships with Covered California. The participating Agents have also demonstrated proven experience in consumer outreach, education, enrollment and post-enrollment support to diverse populations. Participating Agents are encouraged to bring their own unique prospective, expertise and professional skills to our endeavor to develop a targeted enrollment strategy to increase African American enrollment.
Members are expected to contribute their ideas and time to coordinating and executing successful enrollment events.
