Born and raised in Aberdeen, WA. Graduated from Weatherwax High School as well as Grays Harbor College. I left the area and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Married to Jennifer, whom I met in 1998 on my first day working at State Farm. She worked in Claims for 10 years before leaving to become a full-time, at-home Mom.
We have always spent the majority of our time together discussing insurance, selling insurance, meeting new people and laughing A LOT. We have two wonderful daughters, Sela and Dharma, who keep us busy with their extracurricular activities. As a family, we like to travel, hike, play board games and cook together. I interacted with policyholders as well as other State Farm Agents in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii and Idaho.
Those interactions gave me insight into specific policy language, agency, claims, operations and the customer service side of State Farm. In 2007, I decided the skills I had honed while working in Claims would be very beneficial and transferable to helping others in Grays Harbor County looking to purchase insurance.
