Charles L. Finlan, our founder and namesake, established the C.L. Finlan & Son Insurance Agency - the second to be appointed in the state of Michigan by Citizens Mutual of Howell.
Truly a man of his time, he built his business upon the belief that purchasing insurance should be an accessible rather than intimidating process, that agencies should evolve in tandem with society in terms of capability, and that our foremost responsibility is to the people we serve.

During the stay-at-home order in Michigan we at C.L. Finlan decided to take the opportunity to not only continue to spur on the economy, but make some wonderful improvements to our building.
We began renovations a few weeks ago with a locally owned and operated construction company to completely re-do our kitchen and bathrooms, while taking advantage of the opportunity we had with an empty building.
These updates will not just enhance our staff experience, but also enhance safety and cleanliness for everyone in the building.
