Craig started in the insurance business after managing grain elevators for nine years in Montana and Nebraska.
He was raised northeast of Belgrade in the Springhill area, attended Belgrade Schools and graduated from Montana State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and an Economics Minor.
Craig and his wife Kristi have 4 children who went to Belgrade schools and Montana State University.
She moved to Montana in 2016 from Washington State to pursue her education at Montana State University and has since earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology.
