Services
You're required by law to carry auto insurance.
So you may not think it makes a difference if you get it from a talking lizard, a comic spokesperson, or a locally owned insurance provider like Scribner Insurance Agency.
If all insurance is alike, what difference does it make where you get your coverage-just shop around for the best price, right?
At Scribner Insurance Agency we've seen our share of accidents.
But out of all the claims we see on a daily basis, few are as frequent, or as potentially life changing, as accidents involving an automobile.
Getting out on the water in your boat, jet ski, or other watercraft is likely one of your favorite places to be.
But owning a boat can increase liability risks (even when you're on dry land.)
Let's make sure your "financial boat" doesn't sink should you hit any unforeseen crosswinds or rough water.
The fact is, homeowner's policies usually place numerous restrictions on boat owners depending on the size, horsepower, and damage coverage you expect.
In other words, if you don't carry a specific boat insurance policy, you are probably underinsured, which can make for troubled waters if you lose control of your craft, sustain damage or sink, or a guest causes an accident.
You've customized your ride, now it's time to customize an insurance policy that will cover your antique or collector car with the care it deserves.
In fact, proper coverage is the most important thing to have before you hit the road or attend your next car show or event.
Because the marketplace values classic and collectible cars differently, you will need a policy that provides different coverage than "regular use" drivers.
Since classic and collectible cars often register as older vehicles, they aren't evaluated at their true market value according to standard insurance practices.
Unexpected medical bills can devastate your finances.
Health insurance doesn't just help you pay for care, it can protect you and your family financially in the event of unexpected-or potentially expensive illnesses and injuries.
Unpredictable costs can rob your peace of mind.
You don't want to be in the position of adding "money stress" to an already stressful medical situation.
Since care costs are so unpredictable, proper coverage can give you definite peace of mind in knowing you are protected from most of these costs.
These questions are crucial to address, because you can't get insurance after a disaster strikes-and that can happen at anytime.
Home insurance covers the hazards that most homeowners face-everything from fire to theft, a cracked foundation to accidents on your property.
When a loss occurs, you will file a claim with your insurance carrier and you are paid for the expenses, minus any outstanding deductible amounts.
Insurance also covers personal liability exposures, to protect you from many situations that could lead to lawsuits from others.
