One of the original founders of the agency was A.J. Lammers; the great, great uncle of current owner Peg Anderson.
Peg's father, Tom Tideman, began his ownership in the agency in 1973 as one of the partners of Wirth-Tideman Insurance and moved his office to the current location at 226 North Broadway Avenue in Hartington.
In 1984, Tom Tideman became the sole owner of the agency to be known as Tom Tideman Insurance, Inc.
