Taylor was born and raised in New Martinsville, WV and graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Taylor worked in claims before opening the doors to his own State Farm agency in 2016. He is a second generation State Farm agent, following in the footsteps of his mother, Lisa Shepherd. Taylor is a board member of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Rotary and UMAC.
Taylor, his wife, Kate and their dog, Chili, enjoy spending time with friends and family. In their free time, they travel, hike, walk Chili and explore everything Moundsville has to offer them!
