Joshua is the 3rd generation of his family to serve as President of Strong Insurance Agency founded by his grandfather James M. Strong IV. He is proud to carry on his family's practice of protecting the East End of Long Island; a tradition that dates back to James G. Scott, the longest serving head keeper at Montauk Lighthouse, serving from 1885 to 1910.
The land where Strong Insurance Agency sits was once home to the Strong Brothers Blacksmith Shop, whose founder once served as a Town Trustee, working for the preservation and fair use of the lands that make up the Town of East Hampton. Joshua takes great pride in helping businesses, individuals and families create personalized insurance solutions that will protect and preserve their future.
When Joshua is not in the office he is spending time with his wife, Summer and their 3 young children working in his garden and enjoying the beautiful beaches and trails that this community has to offer. Joshua is a member of the East Hampton Rotary and serves as an Elder and a member of the Mission Committee for the First Presbyterian Church of East Hampton.
