Jake was born and raised in the Hope community.
He graduated from Hauser High School, has his Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University, and Master's Degree from Liberty University.
Jake currently serves as the CEO of Heritage of Hope, and also serves on the Board of Trustees at St. Louis Crossing Church.
Jake enjoys spending his free time with his wife and five children, who are all very active in youth sports and other organizations around Bartholomew County.
After retiring from Cummins Engine Company, Ohmer began working in the insurance industry in 1998.
