Hi, my name is Brian Fernholz, the owner of Fernholz Crop Insurance Agency. My office is located 3 miles east of Madison, MN on State Highway 40. I live on a farm with my wife and three boys. Besides running a crop insurance agency, I also operate a family farm and hold a real estate license. I began selling crop insurance for Western Crop Protection in 2003 and opened my own agency in February of 2011.

The Enhanced Coverage Option (ECO) is a new crop insurance option in 2021 that provides additional area-based coverage for a portion of your underlying crop insurance policy.
ECO offers producers a choice of 90 or 95 percent trigger levels and is a federally subsidized product.
