Mike started in the insurance business in 1978 initially focusing on life insurance and annuity sales. In 1988 he joined the Keystate Associates Agency and began selling property and casualty insurance in addition to his life and annuity sales work. In 1994 Mike and Darla purchased the former Keystate Associates Insurance Agency from Earnest Patton and Patricia Schofield.
Steve, Mike's brother, joined the agency in 2000 and his son Dan in 2004, with Braden, Mike's youngest son more recently coming on board. The agency motto is "We Treat You Like Family" and the entire team strives to accomplish this goal.
