There seems to be a considerable amount of this in the county after the recent rains.
Dr. Holshouser advised to try and harvest what you can if you see early signs of phomopsis in efforts to save as much as possible.
As for what this will amount to in drying costs, docking, etc.
I cannot determine.
If seed had dried down to 20% moisture prior to these rains then reached at least 50% moisture, then germination and sprouting is likely to occur.
