At Schomer Insurance, our Pierz insurance agency has officially been established since 1963; however, we are able to trace our insurance roots back to a much earlier year in time.
Around 1913: R.M. Stoll and A.P. Stoll incorporated their insurance agency, calling it Stoll & Stoll, Inc.
1960s: The agency changed its name to Farmers & Merchants Insurance Agency, Inc., to reflect the bank that owned it.
1990: The bank sells Farmers & Merchants Insurance Agency to John Christenson of Crosby, MN, who made it a sole proprietorship.
