Before he started writing insurance policies, Alvin owned a bookstore and paint depot with several of his brothers.
A committed Mennonite, he founded the agency on the belief that insurance and financial services can be integrated with faith and stewardship.
That same spirit continues to animate Yoder-Bontrager Insurance to this day.
