Kurt and Lara are the owners of Minnewaska Insurance & Real Estate. They have lived in the Starbuck area for most of their lives, and both graduated from the Starbuck Highschool. Afterwards, they both went to Moorhead State University, with Kurt earning a Social Studies Education degree and Lara a Paralegal degree. Kurt and Lara have four boys and are very involved in the community, especially with our local school system.
In 1999, they purchased the agency and have expanded it to include a broad variety of insurance, financial products and real estate services. Lara concentrates on residential, commercial and lake-front property, while Kurt concentrates on farmland and hunting property, along with a variety of our Insurance & Financial products.
