Pleasant Mutual Insurance was organized in 1874 by a group of farmers who were unable to insure their properties because they were too high of a risk.
The group formed a Town Mutual Insurance that was owned by them.
This same idea continues today in Mutual Insurance Companies across the United States.
All this grew out of the basic concept of people pitching in to help each other when disaster struck.

In addition our staff volunteers in many of the programs offered by the Chamber including Breakfast with Santa and the County Fair Corn Roast.
Our staff also volunteers for the local High School "My Life" program which helps students understand the need and cost of insurance, as well as many other aspects of life.
Our Company has participated as a buyer at the Racine County Fair for more than 25 years, supporting the animal and poultry auction, as well as the Dairy Program.
