Heartland Security Insurance Group is a diversified insurance holding company comprised of eight individual companies. Each of the companies offers solutions to distinct client groups who need insurance and risk management services. The origins of the first Heartland company, now known as Hibbs-Hallmark & Company, go back to the late 1800's in Tyler, Texas.
For the past fifty years the organization has been led by members of the Hibbs family, although the company now has many stockholders, as well as a company ESOP. Heartland Security Insurance Group values, and actively seeks, individuals who desire to help others. This attitude towards service has allowed the organization to grow to be one of the largest of its type in the Southwest, and extends to a multitude of philanthropic and educational causes that are supported across the community and around the world.
I have enjoyed working for Hibbs-Hallmark because we help people and provide them a valuable service. I also enjoy the people that work here and their genuine interest in serving others.
