Scheef Insurance, LLC was founded in 1975 when Jerry and Marlynn Scheef purchased the Semper Insurance Agency from the Semper Family after Paul passed away. In 2016, the agency was purchased from Jerry and Marlynn by Scott and April Reilly. Scott had been with the agency since 2011 and the time was right. Since 2011, we have worked with, acquired, and merged with several local agencies that felt it was time to pass their trusted agency on to a long standing and trusted agency that has deep roots and many years ahead.
They are Nebraska Rural Services in 2011 from here in Spalding, Betty Ondracek agency from Greeley in 2015, merged Ita Insurance Agency crop business from Ericson into ours in 2017, and Kasselder Insurance from Bartlett in 2018. This has been and continues to be very successful ventures because the agency clients stayed with us, and we continue to provide the quality of service they received from their former agents and agencies.
